Welcome to
Breast Cancer Risk Calculator
Proudly brought to you by Melbourne Comprehensive Breast Care
Before you start
This calculator designed to estimate the risk of future breast cancer in women aged between 18 and 75 who have not been diagnosed with cancer.
Our risk calculator is not suitable for:
Men
Women aged under 18 or over 75
Women who have had breast cancer
Women who have had both breasts removed
Women who have (or who have a blood relative with) an abnormality in a gene associated with high risk of breast cancer other than BRCA1 or BRCA2
Women who have had chest radiotherapy
Please allow 5–10 minutes to complete the questionnaire.
Most questions are optional. The more you answer, the more accurate and personalised your risk assessment will be. If you’re unsure, simply leave a field blank. Any unanswered items are treated as ‘unknown’ and the calculator adjusts your score accordingly.
Remember a woman’s breast cancer risk changes over time, so you may need to repeat this calculation in the future if for example a new relative is diagnosed with breast or ovarian cancer, a breast biopsy is done, or your breast density changes.
